Nut Roast Recipe


In a large pot:

  • 4 cups of grated carrots
  • 280gms of TVP
  • 400gms of cashews
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp mixed herbs
  • 1 ½ Tbsp mixed spice
  • 6 cups of liquid beef stock (6 tsp of powder and 6 cup of water)
  • More water as required

In large bowl:

  • 400gms rolled oats


-Mix everything that is in the pot and cook for 20mins. Stirring occasionally.

-Once cooked, place cooked ingredients into a blender and blitz to desired consistency.

-Preheat oven to 180deg.

-Pour blended ingredients into rolled oats bowl and mix. The rolled oats will be there to absorb any remaining liquid.

-Put mixture into 2x bread pans or a large pan.

-Cook for 1 hour.
