Mac n Cheese Recipe
Dairy Free, Egg Free, Nut Free, Vegan
500gms of macaroni (cooked as per packet instructions)
170gm dairy-free butter
½ cup cornflour
500ml of rice milk
⅔ cup of melted Angel Food cheddar cheese
2 Tbsp of nutritional yeast
1 tsp liquid smoke
Pinch of chilli powder (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Melt dairy-free butter in a pot. Whisk in cornflour until combined. Slowly pour in rice milk, while whisking.
Add melted cheese and whisk. Add nutritional yeast and whisk. Add liquid smoke, chilli, salt and pepper
Add cooked pasta and serve.
They also recommend that you a top it off with Not a Butcher's Not Meat products, or even serve in a bagel.
